It's all over!

Pre- surgery in her little gown... the nurse had some toys on the bed waiting for her! She immediately went for the giraffe, which went immediately in her mouth!

Recovering from anesthesia...Sadie was fussy, but it wasn't too bad. Once she had her bunny, she fell off to sleep! It was pretty darn cute!

Our little champ! She just popped up after a tiny nap and seemed like she was ready to go! She was fascinated by the ankle band and the blood pressure cuff...not so much with the IV in her arm!

Well, we are already home and feel so thankful that all went so well. All of the nurses and doctors were very kind and attentive. Dr. Duke removed the mass, which looked like a congenital cyst probably made up of blood vessels. He was able to seal off the main blood vessel that was leading to the cyst and several little ones. He will send it off to pathology and we should know something within a week. He felt really good about it and thought that it did not look "ominous", but what he was expecting. So far Sadie has handled the anesthesia well and is now napping. The doctor said to expect her to be really sore in her neck because the mass was in her neck muscles. But so far so good!
We are so grateful for our family and friends who have faithfully prayed for us and loved us through all of this. Thank you for walking this journey with us. The Lord has been very gracious and we praise Him for His goodness and sovereignty. He is on His throne... To God be the glory!
