Lately, I have been so encouraged by reading blogs. Joe usually gives me grief for reading all these blogs, but I have been inspired to get organized by Simple Mom, start a wonderful family tradition of a Jesse Tree, again Simple Mom, and I found the most amazing, inspirational blog through Mysti called Bring the Rain. I have spent hours reading Angie's story and would encourage any of you to go there. She also started a thing to pray for our children in seven different areas throughout the day . It has been very encouraging for me as I want to be faithful in praying for my children, yet get lost in the busyness of parenting that my only prayer is "Lord, give me patience." "Lord give me the grace..." You can check it out here.
Not only have I been encouraged through these different blogs, I have found neat jewelry, crafts, ideas, etc... Simple Mom supports Mom's who have started their own businesses with unique talents. - The Lord took me overseas after college where I happened to meet my future husband! Joe and I were married in May 2003. A little over two years later we welcomed our first child, Noah. 20 months later, Madeline arrived...21 months after that Sadie made us a family of five! Sadie was dianosed with Epilepsy in September 2011. For the past 18 months we have searched for the answer that is causing her significant developmental delays. We were told in September 2012 that she has a rare form of epilepsy called Atypical Rolandic Epilepsy that has been untreatable with medicine. We have found ourselves in the role of special needs parents to our precious baby girl. We were unprepared for this road. It has been a hard one, but one that we feel God has given us. On the good days, it feels like a privilege. On the bad days, we choose by faith to believe that the Lord is good and in control.

I also love Simple Mom and Bring the Rain. My hubby makes fun of me, too...but they are quick, encouraging things to read, instead of a whole book. Because what mom has time for that???
