8 years later

Eight years ago today I married the man of my dreams!!! I am amazed that eight years has flown by. It has been the best years of my life and I am forever grateful that the Lord chose this man for me. It honestly feels too good to be true at times. I can honestly say that Joe is my best friend and I would rather be with him than anyone else! Whether it's sitting outside grilling, curled up watching TV or a movie, reading in bed, I am most content in his presence.

Joe surprised me with the GREATEST gift EVER...a night without the kids! He arranged for his parents to pick the kids up and have a sleep over at their house! It was so nice just having the house to ourselves and waking up to no chaos! Don't get me wrong, I love my little chaos makers, but it is so refreshing to have a break!

He made me a delicious meal...all compliments of Fresh Market! Sushi and wine for appetizers; steak, huge twice baked potatoes, grilled veggies and pineapple, and Caesar salad for dinner! It was delicious and I didn't lift a finger! I felt so loved and cherished! For desert, I made his favorite white chocolate chip cookies!

He even set the table with our wedding china!

8 years and three kids later...

I am so thankful for the simple pleasure of just enjoying being with you! I love you babe!
