Trip to IL

We braved a trip to IL the first weekend in September. Trying to play catch up might not be worth it, but maybe one day it will! I'll try to recap the pictures in order of our trip to Arenzville for our cousin, Julie's wedding. Starting with the top, the boys had a BIG time dancing (mind you there was NO dancing) at the rehearsal dinner. To keep them occupied, we stuck them in the corner with the dvd player to watch Cars (always a hit). On Saturday, we were able to attend Burgoo, the "world's largest". I am still not quite sure what burgoo is, but check out the vats of mush! They keep this stuff cooking 24/7 for the entire weekend! It was a sight to behold! Kinda made me think of my China days! You can see some locals in one pic, Great Grandma Lovekamp with all her great grand kids, the boys looking good at the wedding, and the sister-in-laws!

Next, brothers and sister, playing before the wedding, the fam, Madeline prissin' it up, Great Grandpa Kleinschmidt playing with Madeline, and out it the yard at Grandpa's house. We were thankful to be a part of Julie's wedding despite the chaos of keeping two small kids quiet for a wedding and sit down dinner reception! Congrats to Julie and Matt!
