Two weeks ago in preparation for the big game, I got the kids dressed in their gear! Noah wore his Bama jersey to school on Wednesday and his UGA jersey (in fairness to Daddy) on Friday. Then after we beat those dawgs (WHOO HOO!!!) I sent him back to school the following Monday in his Bama jersey again! Oh, victory is so sweet over here in bulldog land! The Bama flag is flying proud on the house! ROLL TIDE!!!

- The Lord took me overseas after college where I happened to meet my future husband! Joe and I were married in May 2003. A little over two years later we welcomed our first child, Noah. 20 months later, Madeline arrived...21 months after that Sadie made us a family of five! Sadie was dianosed with Epilepsy in September 2011. For the past 18 months we have searched for the answer that is causing her significant developmental delays. We were told in September 2012 that she has a rare form of epilepsy called Atypical Rolandic Epilepsy that has been untreatable with medicine. We have found ourselves in the role of special needs parents to our precious baby girl. We were unprepared for this road. It has been a hard one, but one that we feel God has given us. On the good days, it feels like a privilege. On the bad days, we choose by faith to believe that the Lord is good and in control.

so funny!! I actually thought of you as we were watching the game and could almost hear you rubbing it in Joe's face!!! At least you pull for a team that actually wins. Philip swears every year that we are just going to switch our loyalties so that our kids don't grow up to be tortured Ole Miss fans like us!!!
