Gammie and Papa with the grandkids (Maddie (9 weeks), Jack (2), Ben (18 mo) and Noah (22 m0)). I'd say the grandkids have some good lookin' grandparents!
This past week we had a wonderful vacation on St. Simon's Island with Joe's side of the family. Everyone was able to be there except for Josh (though he made a less than 24 hour appearance, and we were truly grateful). Papa and Gammie put us up in a fabulous beach house! It was so great to get away and relax on the beach. My sweet husband let me go down to the beach a couple of times by myself and I actually got to read my book! Talk about a dream come true! I can't even remember the last time I got to do that! I actually read two books while we were there. It was the best! Noah was able to play with his two cousins, Jack and Ben. Madeline was a trooper and mainly slept the whole time! Aunt Mary Hampton and Uncle Josh and Ben were able to meet her for the first time, which was special for us. We had a great time with our family and are blessed to be able to get together. Thanks Papa and Gammie for a great week! We love you!

They both look like they have gotten so big since the lake! I LOVE the brown and red suit you had Maddie in. I tried to find a cute one like that for EK, but only found a little bikini at Target. Anyway, I love the new pics and glad that you got to read! I am reading a book this week for the first time in like 6 months (and it's not a parenting book!). Love ya!

Fun! Isn't it fun having little cousins so close in age? Joe's parents are adorable. I look forward to when Clayton and his cousins are big enough to pull each other in wagons. Great pics!

The beach trip sounds like so much fun! It makes me want to go back again. The pictures are adorable. Maddie is growing up so fast. I would love to meet her. Hopefully things are getting easier since last time we talked.
