We woke up this morning to a fun surprise...we got BOO'ed by a friend in the neighborhood! Being "boo'ed" means someone secretly gives you a Halloween treat on your doorstep at night, rings the doorbell and runs! When you find your surprise, you put a sign up saying "we've been boo'ed" (which came with our treats), and you turn around and "boo" two other families! You can find the poem and sign here. We had the best time today shopping for goodies, filling the buckets and secretly delivering them! I am excited to add this tradition to our fall festivities!
Here are Madeline and Noah with the treats we put together!

She is ready to BOO! I love that smile on her face!
Making the drop...
RUNNING for it!!!
We had a great time as a family doing something special for someone else. I think it was a good opportunity to show the kids how to love others and serve them in a simple way...a small basket of goodies can brighten any one's day. I know it did for us!
I hope you have a BOOtiful weekend with your little ones!

So fun! My sister's neighborhood did that this year, too.
I love that picture of Maddie!! Precious smile!
That's awesome! And man, oh, man, how big does Madeline look??? And Noah! Oh, I need me some Noah love. Meryt still insists that when we move to a bigger house, we're moving next to Noah. She tells everyone who listens that Gretel is from Noah's family, even though they moved away from us. We'll have to come visit if little Luke is a good baby.
Maybe we can add the BOO tradition to our neighborhood. I think other families would enjoy it!
what fun! i'll have to remember for next year! what a great idea!
