Home Sweet Home

Well, we are finally moved in to our new home! It seems like it has taken forever! But at last, we are here! It has been a good week as we have settled in and started the unpacking process. The boxes seem to never end! Right when I thought we were done, we looked into the attic and behold, there sat mounds of boxes! Joe has been a wonderful worker bee! He makes me so proud! The kids seem to be doing great. They have met many children in our neighborhood, many of them our neighbors. It makes me so happy to see him playing in the backyard with lots of little boys and across the street with "his best friend Cole" (of course they have just met several days ago!) Sadie has slept through the night for 13 hours two nights in a row...which most of you know is a MIRACLE!!! It is was we have been hoping and praying for! My friend Kadie said is best that she was praying that this house would be a place of rest for Sadie. Lord let it be!!! Mama needs a break!!!

I have met several nice neighbors and just love the feel of being in a neighborhood with lots of kids around. It is so neat to see them out riding their bikes on the sidewalk and playing in each others yard. This is what I would hope for our family. I don't feel like the reality has set in as far as missing Macon yet, because honestly I am just surviving the day to day. I know that when the boxes are put away and the newness has worn off, the reality will set in. Lord be gracious! I am so thankful for this move and what it means for our family, thankful for a home that we love and room to spread out, thankful for a playroom that I don't have to clean, thankful for my husband, thankful for two nights of sleep that didn't involve my baby girl, thankful that Noah and Madeline are adjusting beautifully...We truly have so much to be thankful for. May our hearts never be satisfied with the things of this world, but know that God is the giver of all good things. He gives and he takes away...Blessed be His name.

Yeah!!! Can Macon come to you in December? M and I would love to visit during Christmas break. She just asked if Noah could come for a playdate. When I told her he lived in another city, she said, "But Miss Tuzie can drive him here for a while!"
