A few weeks ago some of our dearest friends in Macon threw us a going away party. It was such a lovely night. Everything was so nice and the best part was all of our friends gathered in one place! The Lord truly blessed our time in Macon with wonderful friends. I can't imagine living the past five years without them. They became our family. It is so encouraging to see how the Lord used each of us in each others lives, helping one another with our children, praying and trusting the Lord together, leaning on one another during grief, miscarriages, infertility, the stresses and strains of parenting... I am a better mom, friend, and wife due to the influence of these women. My heart aches at the loss of these women on a daily basis, but am so thankful that our friendship will continue no matter the distance.
It still seems hard to believe that we have moved! I am headed back to Macon next week to meet the movers and we will be closing on both houses that same week. I am anxious to get in our new house and make the transition feel complete. We are enjoying Augusta and spending time with Gammie and Papa. Joe likes his new job and we love having Fridays off! So far so good! If anyone wants to join me in praying for new friends, church, schools, etc...please feel free! I covet your prayers!

Mary Ruffin Moore is trying to get in touch with everyone from our pledge class about a reunion next summer. I tried to forward you the e-mail but it bounced back. Can you e-mail me (lcollinsmgs@aol.com) and I will forward it to you from there?
Looks like a great affair!! I know the Lord so blessed you with fabulous friends there in Macon and He will do the same in Augusta. I will join you in praying toward that end. Love you mucho!
Miss you so much, friend! Been wanting to call and check in this week but haven't had the time yet...hoping things will settle down after interview dinner #2 tonight. Anxious for you to get in your new house and get settled so we can come visit!
