Summer Fun

We have had a great summer so far. My plan has been to keep busy so that I wouldn't go insane being home with all three all day long! I am thankful to say that I have really enjoyed this time with the kids. I do long for a few hours to myself to go grocery shopping, browse through Target, take care of the house... One morning we went strawberry picking. All the rain in May made that a bit of a messy experience, but I just loaded the kids up in their boots and we were off! We got to feed the animals, play on the massive playground, and eat yummy strawberry ice cream. It was a fun day. Noah and Madeline loved petting the animals and feeding them, especially the llama and baby goat.

Another big highlight has been the summer movie shows at Amstar and Regal. For $3 you get to see a movie, have popcorn and a drink! The kids thought this was amazing! We watched Curious George the first week and they all did great! I watched them more than I did the movie. They were so cute with their own box of popcorn and the thrill of watching a movie in a real theater with all the sounds was very exciting for them! We have spent afternoons outside with the sprinklers and at the pool. We also go to see Elmo live but I accidentally deleted the pictures. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
