First Sucker

Yesterday we went to eat lunch with a friend and her two girls! Noah was offered his first sucker by his little friend Maggie, who is 7 months older. Boy, did he think he hit the jackpot! He was loving it! It was so cute to watch him and Maggie show each other their bright blue mouths! As we were leaving the table, Noah decided to run off and leave me behind! So there I was, trying to squeeze my way through the crowded tables with my baby carrier (and Maddie), baby bag, purse, and drink in hand chasing the runaway toddler! You could see people look at Noah as he flew past them and look behind him to see who might he belong to! Since he got a head start, I was no where near behind him! He thought he was the cutest thing in the world just a giggling the whole way! As I finally reached him, seconds before he was heading into the kitchen, he just turned around, sucker in hand, blue mouth, and a big smile. I tried my best to stop laughing and correct him, to which he just planted a big kiss on me! It was priceless. The walk of shame out of the restaurant was not, but oh well! This is my life with a toddler!
