Pinkalicious Birthday Girl

Happy 3rd birthday to Madeline!!! We celebrated on Saturday with a Pinkalicious Party! If you have not read the book to your little girls, you must! It is such a cute story about a little girl who eats so many pink cupcakes that she turns pink! The house was adorned in pink as well as most of the guests! We started off the party with reading the book and every time they heard the word "pink", they waved their wands. There was a lot of waving going on! We played "pin the cherry on the cupcake", made macaroni necklaces, decorated cupcakes, and swung at the pinata! Madeline had a blast and do did we! I really can't believe she is three!

Yummy cupcakes- you should have seen all the sprinkles on their cupcakes! I am not sure how they ate them!
Madeline has made a sweet new friend, Carson, across the street. They are a lot alike, which sometimes equals trouble! One day we were driving and she had the etch- a- sketch in her hand. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was making a list of who she wanted at her party. She said, "Carson and Cole, birthday kid, birthday kid, birthday kid..." It really didn't matter to her as long as Carson was there!
Monday was her actual birthday. Sadie and I went to her class and brought cupcakes. Then Gammie and I surprised her with her first pedicure!!! It was hilarious. There is a nail place in town that does kids toes! It was so cute seeing her in her own chair. At first, she got scared and wouldn't sit in it. So she sat with Gammie and put her toes in the water. When she realized how fun it was, she hopped down and went to her own chair! It was so fun! Gammie said we were probably creating a monster!!!

Happy Birthday to our very pinkalicious Maddie! We love you!

I was just thinking this morning that I had not heard from y'all in a while either! Happy Birthday Maddie! And, from experience, yes, you are creating a monster! My mom introduced MM to pedicures at about the same age and she is always begging to go get one! She's had more pedicures in her little life than I've ever had!

I second Julia...I think I actually let out a little gasp when I saw there was a new update! The party looked so cute and both the girls have grown up so much!
