Finally, an update

Per Aunt Kelly's request today to "update, update, update", I thought I would get on it! I don't know why I thought I would be any good at this blog stuff! I love reading everyone else's, I just have a hard time taking the time to update ours! Things are going great with the fam! We are making preparations for Madeline's arrival. It is hard to believe that she will be here in less than two months. I am in my 32 week and my doctors plan to induce me at week 39. The thought of two children makes me a little nervous, but nonetheless, thrilled at the blessing we have received.
Noah is now 18 months old! He is changing and growing right before our eyes! He has officially moved into his big boy room as of last week and has slept in his twin bed for a week now! So far, it has gone pretty well. We have had several nights of him waking up, which is what makes me not sure if I'm really ready for #2 and the sleepless nights it entails! But, Noah loves his cowboy room and has only escaped from the bed several times! He is still very affectionate and likes to cuddle. Some of is favorite things include: Elmo, reading books, "tying and untying" his shoes, loves tools and any chance he can get to "help" Daddy with projects around the house, loves getting a bath and being outside.

He is getting more independent and started throwing more tantrums lately. Noah is pure boy! He is tough as nails. A friend asked me recently if he ever cried when he fell down or bonked his head, etc... She was worried he had that disease where you feel no pain! He seems to be learning new words each week. His most common words are: "please, up, elmo, help, cheese, juice, shoes, hi, no..." He uses sign language a lot for "more, please, eat". It is hard to resist him when he keeps asking for more teddy grahams...please! We are really enjoying him and hoping that he will somehow be prepared for the arrival of his baby sister. He likes to give my belly kisses, and I try to tell him that mommy is going to have a baby, but who knows what he thinks! Some days he just jerks my shirt down and doesn't want anything to do with it! Time will tell!
Hope you enjoy the new pictures! I'll try my best to do better!
