Me at week 29. My sister, Jennifer, had a small family baby shower for me several weeks ago. It was so much fun getting so many PINK things!

- The Lord took me overseas after college where I happened to meet my future husband! Joe and I were married in May 2003. A little over two years later we welcomed our first child, Noah. 20 months later, Madeline arrived...21 months after that Sadie made us a family of five! Sadie was dianosed with Epilepsy in September 2011. For the past 18 months we have searched for the answer that is causing her significant developmental delays. We were told in September 2012 that she has a rare form of epilepsy called Atypical Rolandic Epilepsy that has been untreatable with medicine. We have found ourselves in the role of special needs parents to our precious baby girl. We were unprepared for this road. It has been a hard one, but one that we feel God has given us. On the good days, it feels like a privilege. On the bad days, we choose by faith to believe that the Lord is good and in control.

We can't wait to meet and cuddle Madeline Kate. Noah is such a blessing to Meryt. We know Madeline will bless all of us as well. You are more than ready for her. God has been preparing you for motherhood for a long, long time. You and Joe are AMAZING parents. You can do it! (And I'm here to rock and snuggle Maddie when you're too tired!)
