Beautiful Balloons

While we were at Rock Ranch, there was a hot air balloon show! I have never seen one before and I have to say it was amazing! That night they lit them up and we watched them glow! It was beautiful! Noah didn't quite understand what was going on at first. When the balloons started to take off, Noah started crying and saying "OH NO!!!"

- The Lord took me overseas after college where I happened to meet my future husband! Joe and I were married in May 2003. A little over two years later we welcomed our first child, Noah. 20 months later, Madeline arrived...21 months after that Sadie made us a family of five! Sadie was dianosed with Epilepsy in September 2011. For the past 18 months we have searched for the answer that is causing her significant developmental delays. We were told in September 2012 that she has a rare form of epilepsy called Atypical Rolandic Epilepsy that has been untreatable with medicine. We have found ourselves in the role of special needs parents to our precious baby girl. We were unprepared for this road. It has been a hard one, but one that we feel God has given us. On the good days, it feels like a privilege. On the bad days, we choose by faith to believe that the Lord is good and in control.

How beautiful! I've been hearing stuff on our Christian radio station about The Rock Ranch. I didn't know it had all that fun stuff. Congrats on running another race. You looked so skinny on Sunday! Way to go!
